Barn.

I pass this barn a few times a week and I always gawk at it. It's just so awesome..I wish it were mine, haha! It's starting to really fall apart and so it worries me the owner will tear it down soon...and then I will be so sad. It's a hard location to shoot because the road it's on bends and people go TOO fast, so I had to hurry slow down and shoot out the van window...but thats okay, at least I got one.

Girlie toes!

So today is evil YogaX death....okay so I added the evil and the death but come on, it IS!!! BUT, there is good new on the topic, today I feel AWESOME, so I'm really not dreading it as much as I thought I would! SO for the Yoga dvd you gotta be barefoot...and I like pretty toes. I figured hey why not give myself something prettier to stare at for 90 minutes of pure torture?!?! I hope it helps!!!!!!

I have been working all morning and just realized its almost time to do my workout for the day. I still had my glasses on, that's not so great! I hate when I forget to put my contacts in and then start jumping around and it dawns on me - duh, huh?!

The one good thing...

about MORE snow? The extra light you get in the house :) That's it people, there is nothing else good about getting more snow. I'm so sick of snow...it needs to go far, far, far away!!! Scratch that - I'm just gonna move to some warm lovely state where it never ever snows! *wink*

Birthday.

It's Jeremiahs birthday!!! Its a gloomy rainy and now snowy day, booo!!!! This morning it was so nice, and now it's COLD and snow is headed our way as I type this! BUT thats okay, today my Jeremiah turns 8! HAPPY B-DAY MIAH!!! We have sang and opened gifts, ohhh-ed and ahhh-ed over his baby book ate cake -hence the pic! - then we went to a movie of his choice at Rave, got yummy treats THEN went to dinner! Boy, we have been busy! Right now he is enjoying some time with his DS - of course, wouldnt be a birthday without video games!

I'm tired already! I took my little point-n-shoot camera with us all day so I took like a million snapshots...I'll post them on his blog! Hopefully late this evening I can get that all done, if not 1st thing tomorrow morning :) ...off to go spend time with my big kid....he's grown up way to fast.

Gift.

My Jeremiah turns 8 tomorrow, and today he got a gift from his grandma! Its a Web-Kinz...I have no idea if I spelled that right, or what it does but he was happy so wahoo! ;) He asked if that could be my pic for today and I said sure! Here you go, its a little poodle...kinda hard to tell since its all black!!!

Little Helper.


Luke was my little helper today. I needed to do some test shots for a picture day I have coming up in March, and he was just the right size...so I borrowed him! ...Made for an easy pic of the day! I just love his smushy face!!!!!!!

I saw this one day last week I do believe and you all know me and my pink/brown obsession, it just screamed to me...what can I say, my camera needed something pretty! I just love it, I cant wait to get more! OKAY, now that this is all done this morning, I have GOT to get to work I have so much to do today its crazy, crazy, crazy!!!!!!

Pain.

The only thing I could think of that would be suiting for today was this. Whoever came up with Yoga...is an evil person, haha. This fitness thing we are attempting? Well you do a new routine everyday...and as each day goes by, I'm convinced THAT day is the hardest. Yeah well today we did power yoga....um, it's pure evil. You THINK it's gonna be some tootie-fruity freebie day???? WRONG!!!!! It was the most painful thing ever, oh my gosh. I think when I was lying flat on the floor with my legs up above me in the air and then had to slowly hang them back over my head and shoulders so my toes were touching the floor again? ...that was the point where I was like whaaaat am I doing to myself?!!?! HAHA!! Oh dear goodness, hardest thing ever.

Snack Of The Day.

I watch Rachael Ray to much! Okay, so this is my snack today, yum-yum! Sparky...um, I mean Jeremy and I are doing this new fitness program for 90 days. It's day 3 and I wanna die. I'm not kidding you people, I wanna die...it's so hard!!! But of course with a fitness plan you have to eat properly and get the proper protein/fat/calories and so on, so this is one of my fave new snacks! ...I'll see you tomorrow, if I'm not dead from my workout ;)

OH and note the pretty new colors at the bottom? ...New things to come! ;)

Slacker.

Thats me! Okay so I'm working on this "project" if you will and it has kept me busy for 2 days now! Not to mention the 500 million emails I got today, orders, phone calls, and blah blah blaaaaaaah! So yes, I'm a slacker today. This pic was from like 2 weeks ago, it was just for my dad. He said he needed a new one for his desktop because he was still using a Christmas shot, doh!

SO, tonight I grabbed it to post and then ran a action on it! Dad got the color version, but can I just say how much I love this action??? It makes the pic all foggy and just yummy. I can only use it on "edgy" stuff - so not so much for babies unless it a moody pic. So it gets neglected and quite frankly tonight, I just wanted to use it! Not really meant for this pic, but hey you shush!!! ;)

Panda Shoes!

Today was NUTS. Toooooo much going on all day long! I'm totally cheating....this is an "outtake" from a session because I did not take my pic of the day!!! Bad Shellie! But you can't see the baby's face, so its only a little cheat???? Suuuuure, works for me!! She had these little Panda shoes, I wish the shot was better but my GOSH, she was a quick little thing! They were super cute, thought I'd borrow them for my pic today :)

Anyone else like pretty scarves? I really do....if you do, um do NOT go to Old Navy because it must me the "in thing" at the moment, there are like a MILLION pretty scarves there. I bought this one, and now I love it so very much I want more. *sigh*

Sassy.

Whats better than sassy shoes?? FREE sassy shoes!! *wink* My aunt gave me thes yesterday - it was a surprise. ...I'm telling you, the closer I get to turning 30, the more sassy I feel!!!! Not a bad sassy (like a bad attitude, or something) but a GREAT sassy! Like hellloooo world! haha! I love it, what's so bad about 30??? I think it's like a milestone, a right of passage - a new found confidence as a woman! Mind you it's over a year away since I will only be 29 in April, but I'm actually excited about it!

....So I say, Come on 30 and bring me more sassy shoes!! ;)

Just one of my baby. We had a lot of running around to do this afternoon around town between morning and evening church services and he was so great the whole time...as usual! It was SOOOO COLD today too I thought he might complain about all the in and out! But nope, nada - little angel :) Honestly, I snapped a couple of him because I wanted a pic of him in this sweater that I just love....well, I got a few great ones - but as it turns out, I liked this one the best and ya hardly see it :) My happy little man. ....now, to bed I go, I'm beat!

Somedays, the only thing that makes me happy, is my camera. Just taking random pictures, of nothing really. Simple things with no purpose, no meaning - just happen to catch my eye. It makes me feel happy. I have no idea why other than the simple fact that it just does! So yep, that shot is of my feet up in the air. Pointless, yes - but made me smile!

New Lens!
Due to limited space and my constant use of low apertures, it was time for a new lens! It came today and just as I expected, I LOVE it!!!!! Oh its gonna get lots of use in the near future. And also, Luke actually LET me take his pic today!!! that just doesnt happen too much lately. I asked him if he would use my green blanket, so that is what convinced him. ....I'm seriously starting to wonder about myself lately, the green just calls to me!!! Makes me wanna add green to my pink and brown obsession! I think it "goes" haha pink/green/brown???? Only time will tell, maybe this green thing is a fluke. It's all because of my chair...that got it started, now I can't shake it!

Snow.

Yesterday we got a bit of snow! Not as much as some places, but still about 5 inches. Everytime it snows the boys wanna go play in it, so they get all bundled up and out they go. Luke says "Mommy I need my snow plower - I gotta clean off the sidewalk for daddy" well as very sweet as that is, that's a lot of snow for a little toy truck!!! It just looked lost in the snow, haha!
